Thank you for being a valued customer.  We want to re-iterate that gardening has not been canceled.  Don’t forget that your gardens and outdoor living spaces can be a much-needed sanctuary in this time of uncertainty and the extra time at home can be an opportunity to reconnect with the outdoors.

The shelter-at-home order issued today by Gov. Pritzker and the State of Illinois means we will be closing Lurvey Home & Garden effective tomorrow, Saturday, March 21st.  We will be closed through Tuesday, April 7th.

All four of our landscape supply locations will continue to have normal hours, Monday - Friday from 8am until 4pm to serve our contractor customers.

Although customers won’t be able to visit the garden center to shop, we will still be here getting everything ready for spring.  We will be arranging displays, getting products ready, and making the store beautiful. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon and can’t wait to be helping you with your outdoor spaces again.

Until we can see you again please know that you can find the answers you need now to get your landscape and garden ready for spring.   From our Know & Grows and product guides to our blogs and Quick Take Videos, there is information available to help with almost every spring project, available to you 24/7.  If you have any questions that you can’t find an answer to, please email us at info@lurveys.com and we will be happy to help.

The mild weather this spring is calling you outside.  Don’t underestimate the power of time spent in your yard, get out there and make the most of it!

Thank you for being a valued customer.  We want to assure you that we are doing all we can to continue to provide a safe and welcoming place for you to visit and shop.

Like many organizations, we have looked to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local authorities for guidance in reviewing our practices.  Our stores are cleaned on a daily basis and we have increased the frequency and degree of our store cleaning, especially in common use areas like checkouts, restrooms, phones, and door handles. Additionally, our coffee bars will be closed until further notice.

Our staff is being continually updated as new information becomes available, including updated preventative measures provided by the CDC.  All team members have been provided CDC guidelines about the importance of proper handwashing techniques and best practices for virus prevention, including the importance of staying home if they are feeling unwell.

We want to encourage all of our customers to review and diligently follow the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).  Here are links to find the most up to date information about Coronavirus from these organizations: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)  World Health Organization (WHO)

It’s important to note that gardening has not been canceled.  Your gardens and outdoor living spaces can be a much-needed sanctuary in this time of uncertainty.  Throughout this time we are here to help you bring color and life to your home.  The mild weather this spring is calling you outside.  Don’t underestimate the power of time spent in your yard, get out there and make the most of it!

We appreciate your loyalty and support and will continue to be open for business.
