These timbers are treated with a copper-based treatment called Protectol CX(.31) which has very similar properties of CCA when it comes to corrosion issues, yet remains a non-arsenic and non-chromium product. Protectol CX preservatives penetrate deeply and have a proven track-record in a wide variety of applications and climates. Warranty: limited life-time with residential use.
