Lurvey Select Professional-Grade Sod® varieties are the very best available, and typically reserved for sale to the trade only. They are locally grown at our own 2,000 acre sod farm in Whitewater, Wisconsin using our own blend of elite varieties of seed and then grown in rich, silty clay-loam soil and harvested fresh daily using state-of-the-art equipment. No matter the size of your next project, from one roll to an entire subdivision, picked-up or delivered, you will not be disappointed.

Lurvey Select® "All Blue" Bluegrass Sod

Premium grade sod produced on a rich silt clay loam soil.
Blend of elite Kentucky Bluegrass varieties that are best suited for midwest conditions.
Dark green turf with medium fine leaf texture.
Highly disease resistant turf that will tolerate up to 60% shade.
Good spring green up and performs well with low maintenance fertility programs.
Harvested with a soil depth of 5/8" ± 1/4" with 2-1/2" leaf blade length.

IDOT specified seed blend of turf produced on a silt clay loam soil.
Will perform well in low maintenance installations.
Will tolerate more shade than bluegrass turf blends.
